Click on our profile link for the store. Today we are launching the Loving All Peoples Podcast! Our purpose for this podcast is to connect the Church to the unchurched with stories, testimonies, and practical ways to connect with people outside of the Church. THANK YOU!!! We are so incredibly grateful for your tremendous support this year on North Texas Giving Day! With your help we were able to meet our goal and raise over $50,000! This is a huge blessing for us and will allow us to continue serving this ministry and reaching others. Thank you for partnering with us and believing in the work that we do. We are beyond grateful for YOU! The extremely hot weather this summer gave me the opportunity to finally work on a podcast that we have been putting together. It has been a difficult learning curve, but we are so excited. We are going to be launching it soon and we will update you when it is ready. It will be called the Loving All Peoples Podcast and it will be about reaching the unchurched. We have never done anything like this, so please pray that it will be effective.  We also wanted to share an update on our Spanish speaking ministry led by Yadir and Ania Gonzalez, who have been on our team and have worked with us since 2016. They are continuing to reach and help newly arriving families and have even found a building to meet in that we rent every Sunday. This has been very helpful, because it has been difficult to always meet in homes with so many people. Every month Yadir is meeting new families who have come here to the United States and they usually come with nothing. Since they are considered asylum seekers, and not refugees, they are not assigned case workers from resettlement agencies. They do not have apartments waiting for them and of course no beds or furniture. Refugees often get most of the resources from refugee agencies, churches, and ministries and Spanish speakers often get left with no help, so it’s a huge need to help these wonderful families. Most of the time, these new families end up joining LAP’s Spanish-speaking church. We are so thankful for the opportunity to help and reach these beautiful families.
