NOTE: If you haven’t done so already, please read the first blog post to this series- PRAYER CHALLENGE: THE KEY TO LOVING PEOPLE YOU DON’T LOVE

Father, I know I have racism in my heart. I believe we all do. I believe all people from all races do, but let me focus on myself. Please find in me anything that is not of You. Reveal my blind spots. I may say I don’t have racism in my heart, but from time to time something in me creeps up that I know is not of You. Father, I confess that at times I look down on people because of their race and even economic level. Father, it is so wrong of me. You created all people in your image. We are all part of the same family. Help me to live by the scripture, “Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.” (Philippians 2:3). Father, not only remove the racism in my heart but help me to actively show love towards all races. Show me how I can bless and love all peoples from now on. Give me a desire not only to love all peoples, but to care above all else, that You want “everyone to be saved and understand the truth.” (1 Tim 2:3). God, show me my role in reaching all peoples, for this is what You desire (Matthew 28:18-20). Help me Father from now on to always pray for, care for, and to love all peoples.

  1. WHAT RACE OR PEOPLE GROUP DO I LOOK DOWN UPON?
  2. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO THIS WEEK TO CHANGE MY THINKING?
  3. WHO IN MY LIFE DO I NEED TO TREAT DIFFERENTLY?
  4. WHO DO I NEED TO BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH?
  5. WHO DO I NEED TO START ACTIVELY LOVING AND BLESSING?
