BECOME A CHURCH PLANTER

Yes, you can plant a church or churches. The churches we start are simple to facilitate so they can replicate. Most of us have the capacity to plant one church. If dozens or hundreds of us plant ONE church then we are going to have dozens or hundreds of new churches!

CHURCH PLANTING OPTIONS

Churches, teams, and church planters will focus on reaching those in their own “oikos”, meaning reaching the people who they most likely already have relationship with. This would include families, friends, neighbors, social groups, and people in the work place. Teams and church planters focusing cross culturally would include people they most likely do not know. This would include communities of different cultures, nationalities, different economic levels, or fringe subgroups.

CHURCH PLANTING TEAMS

*Difference between Teams and Church of Believers is that the team is not meeting as a church

  • Option 1. Team of believers form for the purpose of church planting. Churches are planted by each person/couple or in pairs among unchurched people. The goal is to form a church and find leaders to take over and then start another church. Church Planters stay in coaching relationships with leaders of the new church plants. Team stays in contact and meet when needed outside of the churches
  • Option 2. Church Planters become part of the church they started, teach multiplication, and coach new churches into existence.

INDIVIDUAL CHURCH PLANTERS

  • Option 1. Start a group with prebelievers and that becomes your church.
  • Option 2. Coach groups into existence.

CROSS CULTURAL CHURCH PLANTERS

  • This group will be trained differently. Unless you are willing to fully be a part of that community, the goal is to find insider leaders from your target community and coach churches into existence.
